Xeroform Dressing, 4" x 4", is a sterile, non-adherent wound dressing impregnated with a petrolatum base and 3% bismuth tribromophenate. This formulation provides both a moist healing environment and mild antiseptic properties. The bismuth compound helps to suppress bacterial growth while offering mild deodorizing effects, supporting a cleaner wound area.

Designed for direct application to wounds, Xeroform dressings maintain consistent moisture levels, which promotes autolytic debridement and facilitates epithelialization. The petrolatum component prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound bed, minimizing trauma during dressing changes. Its pliable structure conforms easily to body contours and irregular wound surfaces.

This dressing is commonly used for post-operative incisions, first- and second-degree burns, donor sites, and skin grafts.
